1991 – 1992 Season
The 1991-1992 Big Band at Battelle season began with the appearance of Los Angeles tenorman Plas Johnson, returning to jazz after 30 years on the LA studio scene. Monty Alexander returns to Columbus once again after his salute to Nat King Cole last season. JAG’s salute to the Count and the Duke returns once again featuring Al Grey and Harold Jones. Clark Terry returns to Columbus, as well as the Stan Kenton tribute concert.
