JAG Intern Overview

JAG is now offering a general arts management internship, with an emphasis on education and community programming. Please read the internship description below for more information.

Requirements

  • JAG Interns must have the ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
  • JAG Interns must send a letter of recommendation from their current college music professor or advisor to Alex Burgoyne at aburgoyne@jazzartsgroup.org upon applying for a JAG internship.
  • JAG Interns should be able to exhibit an extremely high work ethic as demonstrated by grade point average, letter of recommendation, and work experience.
  • JAG Interns will create a personal statement (minimum of 300 words) describing how they feel this opportunity would benefit their career goals.

JAG offers flexible scheduling that accommodates an academic schedule, a hybrid work setting, and complimentary tickets to JAG concerts and events. The intern will receive a $1,000 stipend at the conclusion of their internship.
