1989 – 1990 Season

Jazz Arts Group’s “An American Classic: Big Band Jazz 89-90” concert series continued the tradition of presenting the world’s leading guest artists to Columbus while preserving the special atmosphere of the band’s performances in the Battelle Theatre. From the striking sounds of Maynard Ferguson to Byron Stripling’s genius tribute to Louis Armstrong and the annual Stan Kenton tribute infused with the timeless music of West Side Story, this season was not one to miss!
