Have you ever dreamed of being the lead singer in a band? Then the Jazz Academy Adult Vocal Workshop is the place for you! Join Jazz Academy teaching artists Jasmine Spitzer and Rachel Azbell alongside a live rhythm section and explore the key components of singing including vocal style and technique, repertoire, band-leading skills and performing with confidence. This workshop is open to all commercial music genres, including jazz, pop, rock, R&B and beyond and will end with a live performance at Brothers Drake Meadery.

For people ages 16 to adult with basic singing experience. Participants may miss up to one rehearsal and must be able to attend the final performance to participate. This program is open to the first 10 registrants only on a first come, first serve basis.

Rehearsals will be held Thursdays October 5th – November 2nd from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Final performance will take place November 10th at 7:00 p.m. at Brother’s Drake Meadery.
