Our biggest band returns to the PBJ & Jazz stage with more of your favorite tunes! Dance with us as the PBJ & Jazz Big Band swings into the Topiary Park to close out our summer series with a bang!
Have you ever dreamed of being the lead singer in a band? Then the Jazz Academy Adult Vocal Workshop is the place for you! Join Jazz Academy teaching artists Jasmine Spitzer and Rachel Azbell alongside a live rhythm section and explore the key components of singing including vocal style and technique, repertoire, band-leading skills and performing with confidence. This workshop is open to all commercial music genres, including jazz, pop, rock, R&B and beyond and will end with a live performance at Brothers Drake Meadery.
For people ages 16 to adult with basic singing experience. Participants may miss up to one rehearsal and must be able to attend the final performance to participate.
Rehearsal Dates: Thursday’s October 5th through November 2nd
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Location: The Jazz Academy
Final Performance: November 10th | 7:00 p.m. | Brothers Drake Meadery
Fee: $35

The Jazz Academy Jam Sessions are a community-focused, curated jam session series held the second Tuesday of each month in the Jazz Academy October 2022-May 2023. Jazz musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to participate in the jam. Each session will have a theme with a list of tunes that will be drawn from.
