Rooted in the Latin jazz tradition but looking to the future, Waves de Achéaims to make minds dance.

Combining Cuban montunos with Appalachian melodies, Brazilian sambas with Detroit hip-hop grooves, and all sounds in-between, Waves de Aché stays true to their Ohio roots while paying homage to the multitude of musical cultures across the Americas.

The heart of Waves de Aché is a trio of close friends, bassist Will Strickler, pianist Ben Maloney, and drummer/percussionist Max Marsillo. Their upcoming second studio album features a plethora of Ohio’s top musicians, including Tommy Lehman on trumpet, Zakk Jones on guitar, Kevin O’Neill on saxophones, Zach Compston on drums, Devin Copfer singing and Eric Rollin rapping.
