Jazz Academy’s Gear Up

Jazz Academy’s Gear Up program is designed to equip central Ohio school music programs with the resources they need to achieve success. Often, schools are faced with little to no budget to maintain their musical instruments and equipment. Or, school instrument inventories are not large enough to accommodate the number of students wishing to play an instrument. This is where the Gear Up program comes into play. Our strong partnerships with area schools allow us to help identify and meet these needs. Whether it’s a wind, string or percussion/rhythm section instrument, accessories, hardware, books or other related need, our goal is to alleviate the burden felt by schools and families when it comes to providing quality music education to their students.

Teachers:

Simply fill out the request form to let us know what your needs are. We will do our best to meet these requests, providing equipment or materials from our ever-growing inventory, or by purchasing a new item for your school.

Keep in mind, your request is subject to availability of inventory and/or funding. We will fill requests on a first-come-first-serve basis. Qualifying schools must be located in Franklin or any of the surrounding counties and have a jazz component to their yearly curriculum.
