Our 50th Anniversary Celebration, ‘The Beat Goes On,’ has officially reached full capacity! If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, fear not! We have standing room and the 3rd-floor balcony available for you to join in and enjoy the 50th year of your Columbus Jazz Orchestra!
Join us at the Columbus Metropolitan Library in the Reading Room for a free concert celebrating the close of our 50th Anniversary Season. We will feature some of our members alongside special guest vocalists Sydney McSweeney and Quan Howell. Your Columbus Jazz Orchestra, founded in 1972 by local educator and performer Ray Eubanks, has been a pillar of the performing arts community here in Columbus for 50 years. As a thank you for being a part of the Jazz Arts Group family and community, join us for this momentous evening and beyond as we present The Beat Goes On!
The Library is located at 96 S Grant and limited parking is available at the CML Garage for free. Additional parking is available on the streets surrounding the Library. Upon entering the library, please follow signs and our friendly volunteers to the second floor Reading Room where you will check in at one of two stations.
Doors for this free concert open at 6:00 p.m. and music will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Please be advised that seating for this event is on a first-come, first-served basis and is classified as general admission. For individuals who have not RSVP’d, standing room will be available at the back of the auditorium and on the 3rd floor balcony. We encourage all attendees to arrive early to secure preferred seating.
We would like to extend a special thank you and recognize the Greater Columbus Arts Council and PNC for their generous contributions to make this event happen.
