PBJ & Jazz: Mary McClendon

July 18, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

Free

As a part of the Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Summer Reading Challenge and along with the Columbus Museum of Art, Jazz Arts Group of Columbus is proud to present a virtual season of PBJ & Jazz this summer.

PBJ & Jazz at the Topiary Park is a family-favorite summer series that has moved children in Columbus to dance, sing, and learn every summer for 10 years. Due to the current restrictions on mass gatherings and concerns for public health, rather than gathering in the beautiful Topiary Park this year, we will be streaming directly to your home.

We invite you to move your living room furniture out of the way and get out your dancing shoes as we premiere the first ever online PBJ & Jazz on Facebook at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 20th and July 18th. If you are unable to join us then, each video will be available for one week after the broadcast.

This series is made possible by the generous contributions from Encova, Friends of the Library, and our beloved donors, who believe in the power of music in children’s lives.

Follow @thejazzacademy on Facebook, or go to www.facebook.com/thejazzacademy to join in on the fun! Be sure to snap a picture of your child swingin’ with the band and tag us on Facebook and Instagram.

Want a reminder? Submit your email below and we’ll send you the official link for PBJ & Jazz 24 hours before it premiers.
