Join one of Columbus’ favorite bands, FLIPPO, as they perform and discuss their most recent project, “Flood: The Music of Herbie Hancock”, Offstage at the Jazz Academy!
“Flood” was the eighteenth album by Herbie Hancock, recorded live in Japan in 1975. Hancock remains one of the most influential jazz pianists working today and was one of the primary architects of the post-bop sound.

The band features Michael Cox on sax, Dennis Hodges on guitar, Erik Augis on keyboards, Andy Woodson on bass, Louis Tsamous on drums, Lucas Holmes on keyboards, and Zach Compston on percussion
