The Jazz Academy Jam Sessions are a community-focused, curated jam session series held the second Tuesday of each month in the Jazz Academy. Jazz musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to participate in the jam, as well as community members who wish to watch. Each session will have a theme with a list of tunes that will be drawn from.
This jam session will be led by bassist Will Strickler and will feature famous bossa novas, delving into the artistry of Brazilian music. We invite musicians and community members to come watch and/or play at this jam! Lead sheets for all tunes are available HERE!
