The Jazz Academy Jam Sessions are a community-focused, curated jam session series held the second Tuesday of each month in the Jazz Academy. Jazz musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to participate in the jam, as well as community members who wish to watch. Each session will have a theme with a list of tunes that will be drawn from.
Join us for a jam session led by drummer Zach Compston, highlighting tunes from the repertoire of Clifford Brown and Max Roach, including pieces from the iconic album “Study in Brown.” We invite musicians and community members to come watch and/or play at this jam!
