The Jazz Academy Jam Sessions are a community-focused, curated jam session series held the second Tuesday of each month in the Jazz Academy. Jazz musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to participate in the jam. Each session will have a theme with a list of tunes that will be drawn from.
This jam session will be led by saxophonist Terrance Charles and feature tunes from the famous record “Sonny Side Up” and other tunes made popular by saxophonists Sonny Stitt and Sonny Rollins. We invite musicians and community members to come watch and/or play at this jam! Lead sheets for this jam are available HERE.
