The Jazz Academy Jam Sessions are a community-focused, curated jam session series held each month in the Jazz Academy. Jazz musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to participate in the jam. Each session will have a theme with a list of tunes that will be drawn from. The Celebrating Women in Jazz Jam Session will be held on MONDAY, March 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
This jam session will be led by Cincinnati- based trumpeter Katie Carson and feature compositions written and made famous by women in jazz. We invite musicians and community members to come watch and/or play at this jam! Lead sheets for all tunes are available HERE.
