Come out and see our flagship youth jazz ensemble, the Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO), under the direction of Mark Donavan, open for the Columbus Jazz Orchestra on their Sunday matinee.
The orchestra’s talented high school musicians further their experience in America’s classical music through a 30-week session during the school year and performances at the Southern Theatre and beyond. The CYJO plays music of the highest level with repertoire from the libraries of great big bands, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Dizzy Gillespie.
You must have a ticket to the 3:00pm Columbus Jazz Orchestra show to attend the CYJO performance.
