The Paul Francis Quartet plays improvised music using pop hits from the 1960’s-2000’s as a vehicle for exploration. Their current release, All Your Life:Interpretations of The Beatles, celebrates the music of the Fab 4 with a unique arrangement on each tune. Styles represented on the album include salsa, post-bop, odd-meter and straight-eighth grooves coupled with new and exciting chord changes that make the listening experience of the quartet interesting for the jazz aficionado while still being approachable to the casual listener.
