The Jasmine Spitzer Quintet was born out of a need for new. Jasmine seeks out tunes that aren’t found in the traditional canon of jazz standards, instead searching out modern compositions that still pay tribute to the rich history of this art form. The Jasmine Spitzer Quintet believes that jazz is a highly collaborative means of musical communication in which each individual plays an equally important role in the conversation.
