Community Jazz: Angie Coyle Project

December 7, 2023 @ 8:00 pm

The Angie Coyle Project will be performing all original compositions written by Angie Coyle. We want to share this new music with people!

The Angie Coyle Project is:

Angie Coyle – tenor sax, flute

Ben Tweedt – piano

Brandon Coleman – guitar

Matt Wiles – bass

Tom Buckley – drums

Zion Sosa – percussion

Angie Coyle is a saxophonist, flutist, clarinetist, composer, arranger, and educator based in Cincinnati, OH. She currently has one album out under her name entitled “Far From Home,” that is made up entirely of her original compositions. Angie’s jazz originals are imaginative, emotional, and vulnerable. As a nature lover, she often uses her writing to evoke visions of the natural world, but enjoys exploring mythical worlds in her music as well.

Angie graduated from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2018 with her Master’s degree in Jazz Studies. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where she studied classical and jazz saxophone, as well as classical flute and clarinet.
