For eight weeks, middle and high school musicians across central Ohio have met to develop their skills as jazz singers in our Columbus Youth Jazz Vocal Lab under the direction of Rachel Azbell and Jasmine Spitzer. The Vocal Lab works to expand each students’ abilities in jazz style, improvisation and overall vocal technique through individual and group instruction with the instructors and with a professional rhythm section. Join us at 7 PM for their final performance and witness the next great Columbus jazz vocalists live at the Bexley Public Library.

The CYJ Vocal Lab final performance will be held at the Bexley Public Library. Admission is free with donations highly encouraged, and the public is welcome to attend.
