Have you ever dreamed of being the lead singer in a band? Then the Jazz Academy Adult Vocal Workshop is the place for you! Join Jazz Academy teaching artist Jasmine Spitzer alongside a live rhythm section and explore the key components of singing including vocal style and technique, repertoire, band-leading skills and performing with confidence. This workshop is open to all commercial music genres, including jazz, pop, rock, R&B and beyond and will end with a live performance at Natalie’s Grandview, one of Columbus’s premier music venues.
For people ages 16 to adult with basic singing experience. Participants may miss up to one rehearsal and must be able to attend the final performance to participate.
Rehearsals will be held Thursdays April 27th – May 25th. Final performance will take place May 31st at 8:00 p.m. at Natalie’s Grandview.
