The Columbus Community Jazz Band is the chance for anyone who has played an instrument to get back into the swing of things! The CCJB performs big band jazz in a fun and engaging environment under the direction of some of Columbus’s finest musicians.
This season of CCJB will feature holiday favorites in a traditional big band setting. The CCJB is led by trombonist Jessica Sneeringer—one of Columbus’s own highly-regarded musicians and educators, and a frequent performer with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra and Famous Jazz Orchestra.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 6–8 PM, and the season will culminate with a performance on Friday, December 12.
Registration: Due to increased interest, we ask that all interested participants complete the CCJB Interest Form below. We will then fill the ensemble based on these submissions. This ensemble is open to musicians with fundamental experience on saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, piano, bass, and drum set.

Fee: $50
