Internship Opportunities

Jazz Arts Group’s Internship Program

Student interns at Jazz Arts Group are provided an inside look at the operations of a successful performing arts organization under the direction of professional staff. Part-time internships are available in the areas of:

  • Arts Administration
  • In-school Education
  • Community Education
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Development

Internships are available in the fall, spring and summer. Student interns are encouraged to seek academic credit for the internship in coordination with their academic advisor, and are provided a small stipend from Jazz Arts Group at the conclusion of the internship. Internships are primarily housed at Jazz Arts Group’s administrative office in the King-Lincoln District of Columbus, 769 E. Long Street, Columbus, 43203. Students from all academic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to explore an internship at Jazz Arts Group.

To apply for a JAG internship, students should fill out and submit the Internship Application Form (available on the right) by each deadline as notated on the form. If accepted through the application process, a Jazz Arts Group staff member will be in contact to set-up an interview. If, at the end of this process, both the student and the staff member are convinced that a good match has been found, a start date, schedule and work contract will be developed. If there are any additional questions, please contact Scott Vezdos at 614-294-5200 x 110 or svezdos@jazzartsgroup.org.
