Columbus Youth Jazz Studio Ensemble

The Columbus Youth Jazz Studio Ensemble is a brand-new addition to JAG's Youth Jazz programs. The Studio Ensemble bridges the gap between our initial experience, the Columbus Youth Jazz Workshop, and our performance-based experience, the Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO). This group is comprised mainly of students in grades 10-12 who are working towards playing in the CYJO or continuing to play in college, and the group emphasizes individual skill development and a broad exploration of jazz literature.
