How to get to Capital University
Capital University MapFrom the north or south:
Travel I-71 to the Broad Street exit. Turn east onto Broad Street and drive 2.5 miles to Drexel Avenue in Bexley. Turn right onto Drexel and continue south until Drexel ends in front of the campus at Main Street. Turn left (east) onto Main Street. At the next light, Pleasant Ridge Avenue, turn right (south).
From the west:
Travel I-70 to the Bexley/Main street exit. The exit ramp automatically turns onto Alum Creek Drive, which will dead end at Main Street (in front of the Kroger store). Turn right (east) on Main Street. At the fourth traffic light, turn right (south) on Pleasant Ridge Avenue.
From the east:
Travel I-70 to the Livingston Avenue exit. Turn left (west) on Livingston Avenue, then turn right (north) at the first traffice light onto Alum Creek Drive. When Alum Creek dead ends in front of the Kroger store, turn right (east) on Main Street. At the fourth traffic light, turn right (south) on Pleasant Ridge Avenue.
From the northwest:
Travel south on I-75 to Routh 23. Follow Route 23 into Columbus and take I-270 east to I-71, exit on Broad Street. Turn east onto Broad Street and drive 2.5 miles to Drexel Avenue in Bexley. Turn right onto Drexel and continue south until Drexel ends in front of the campus at Main Street. Turn left (east) onto Main Street. At the next light, Pleasant Ridge Avenue, turn right (south).

From the north:
Take I-71 South into downtown Columbus. Get off at the Broad Street exit (Exit 108B). Turn right (west) on Broad Street, go several blocks to Third Street, which is one-way south. Turn left (south) on Third Street, go several blocks to Mound Street. Turn left (east) on Mound Street, cross Fourth Street, then turn left into Stanton's parking lot.
From the east:
Take I-70 West into downtown Columbus. Get off at the Fourth Street exit (Exit 100). Turn right (north) on Fourth Street, go one short block to Mound Street. Turn right (east) on Mound Street, then turn left into Stanton's parking lot.
From the south:
Take I-71 North into downtown Columbus, where it will join I-70. Get off at the Fourth Street and Livingston Avenue exit (Exit 100B). Stay in the right ramp lane as it parallels Livingston Avenue, which will force you to turn left (north) onto Fourth Street. After crossing over the freeway, get into the far right lane, turn right (east) on Mound Street, then turn left into Stanton's parking lot.
From the west:
Take I-70 East into downtown Columbus. Get off at the Fourth Street and Livingston Avenue exit (Exit 100B). Stay in the right ramp lane as it parallels Livingston Avenue, which will force you to turn left (north) onto Fourth Street. After crossing over the freeway, get into the far right lane; turn right (east) on Mound Street, then turn left into Stanton's parking lot.

From the north:
Take I71 South to exit 109B towards Cleveland Ave/Leonard Ave. Turn right onto Jack Gibbs Blvd. Park in the first, most centrally located parking lot. Shot Tower is the first building in the center of campus. Enter the front doors and go downstairs to the lower level.
From the east:
Take I-71W. Follow exit 101A to merge onto I-71N toward Cleveland. Take exit 109B for I-670E towards the Airport. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for Leonard Ave. and merge onto Hamilton Ave. Turn left at Jack Gibbs Blvd. Park in the first, most centrally located parking lot. Shot Tower is the first building in the center of campus. Enter the front doors and go downstairs to the lower level.
From the south:
Take I-71 N towards Columbus and continue on OH-315 (look for signs to Dayton/I-70 W / OH-315 N). Take the exit onto I-670E. Exit at Cleveland Ave/OH-3, exit #4C. Turn left at Cleveland Ave and turn right onto Jack Gibbs Blvd. Park in the first, most centrally located parking lot. Shot Tower is the first building in the center of campus. Enter the front doors and go downstairs to the lower level.
From the west:
Take I-70E towards Columbus. Merge onto I-670E (Airport/I-670E). Take exit 4C for Cleveland Ave/OH-3. Turn left at Cleveland Ave. Turn right at Jack Gibbs Blvd. Park in the first, most centrally located parking lot. Shot Tower is the first building in the center of campus. Enter the front doors and go downstairs to the lower level.
***If you are dropping your student off, following the drive around and pull directly in front of Shot Tower.
