
Chris Berg, Bass
Bassist Chris Berg received his B.M. in Classical Double Bass Performance from Manhattan School of Music, and his M.A. in Theory and Composition from Montclair State College, NJ. He regularly performs with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, and has performed as a band member at club, concert, festival, radio, and television appearances with artists including Susanna McKorkle, Barry Harris, John Pizzarelli, Marty Grosz, Mel Lewis, Eddie Daniels and The Widespread Depression Orchestra, among others. Berg is the former Director of Research and Music Development for Brain Actuated Technologies, Inc., Yellow Springs, OH, where he designed and developed software for brain-actuated music. Currently, he is Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies at Central State University, Wilberforce, OH, and instructor of Jazz Bass at the Conservatory College of Music, University of Cincinnati.
