The Columbus Community Jazz Band is the chance for anyone who has played an instrument to get back in the swing of things! Led by some of Columbus’ finest musicians, the CCJB performs jazz classics in a fun and engaging environment.

This spring we return to making music together in a traditional big band setting, led by trombonist Jessica Sneeringer, one of Columbus’ most well-regarded musicians and educators and a frequent performer with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra and Famous Jazz Orchestra. We will meet every Wednesday night from 6-8pm for 5-weeks and end our season with a final public performance on Wednesday, May 1st at 7pm at the Bexley Public Library Auditorium.

Registration: Due to increased interest, we ask that all interested participants, new or returning complete the CCJB Interest Form below. We will then fill the ensemble based off of these submissions. Please note: at this time, the interest form is closed for the spring session of CCJB. Stay tuned for more information on our summer session!

This ensemble is open to musicians with fundamental experience on saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, piano, bass and drum set.
