Jazz Arts Group’s PBJ & Jazz series features master blues guitarist Sean Carney – Jan. 14

International Blues Challenge (IBC) winner and Albert King Best Guitarist Award-winner Sean Carney returns to the Lincoln Theatre on Saturday, January 14, 2012 for a blues-rockin’ PBJ & Jazz concert presented by the Jazz Arts Group of Columbus (JAG) and Bob Evans Farms. Jazz Arts Group announces Columbus Youth Jazz concert

The Jazz Arts Group of Columbus (JAG) is proud to present the first concerts of the 2011-12 Columbus Youth Jazz Workshop and Columbus Youth Jazz Studio Ensemble. Jazz Arts Group awarded $85,000 from JPMorgan Chase for Jazz Academy’s Creative Communities

The Jazz Arts Group of Columbus (JAG) will continue its partnership with the JPMorgan Chase Foundation to serve the greater Columbus and Weinland Park areas through its Jazz Academy community and school programs. With its recent $85,000 award to the “Creative Communities” project, JPMorgan Chase has invested nearly a quarter million dollars in this strong combination of programs for children over the past three years. | Read More

Jazz Arts Group releases national data for regenerating jazz audiences

The Jazz Arts Group of Columbus (JAG) has released findings from a 21-month research project focused on current and potential jazz ticket buyers across the U.S. and in Central Ohio.
