Byron’s Blog: Let the Columbus Jazz Orchestra “Raise You Up!”

Anticipation is driving me crazy. That’s because this Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, the Columbus Jazz Orchestra joins the 200-voice Harmony Project at the Lincoln Theatre in a spectacular concert called, “Raise Me Up!”

“It’s Showtime at the Apollo” by David Rickert

According to Ted Fox in Showtime at the Apollo, “The Apollo probably exerted a greater influence upon popular culture than any other entertainment venue in the world.
