To some the music of Broadway represents everything jazz is not. With its campy love songs, costumes, dancing girls, and highly structured songbook, it appears that Broadway is the antithesis of improvisational jazz. With all of this you have to wonder why the Columbus Jazz Orchestra would even dare journey down the great white way.
