On keyboard & bass, Otis Davenport provides the musical center and foundation that allows that trio to blend as beautifully as they do harmoniously. Neal Cobb, known affectionately as “Dr.Cobb” provides that solid, deep pocket rhythm that is essentially Neal Cobb. And, Ken Weaver’s passion, soulfulness, funky & melodic string picking rounds out the sound of this trio. For their performance at Notes they will include several Christmas selections played in the style of guitarists Wes Montgomery and Kenny Burrell.
